ABRAHAM CHACKO
(02/22/1944 – 04/05/2008)


Abraham Chacko was born on February 22, 1944 to the late Chacko and the late Rahelamma Chacko. He was blessed to be born into a Christian family with six siblings that included five sisters and one brother. He was second to the youngest child in the family. After completing high school, he joined Border Roads, a private sector of the Indian Army, working as a stenographer. He moved to the United States in September of 1988 along with his family.

He was an active member of St. Paul’s Mar Thoma Church and served in various capacities within the church. He worked as a Financial Counselor at Parkland Memorial Hospital for 17 years before he was diagnosed with lung cancer. He fought bravely for two years against this illness but unfortunately lost the battle the morning of April 5, 2008. He was a hard working individual, a
faithful husband,a caring father, and a loving grandfather.

His faith in God helped him live his life to the fullest. He will be greatly missed by his surviving

Annamma Abraham (wife), Rachel Daniel and Mercy Abraham (daughters), Jacob Abraham (son), Benson Daniel (son-in-law), Elizabeth Abraham (daughter-in-law), Jonathan Daniel, Jaden Daniel, Jordyn Daniel and Chloe Abraham (grandchildren), and P.G. Varghese (father-in-law).
